Real Wedding: Emily and David

Nov, 28th, 2016

With Fall 2016 coming to a close, Mazzone Hospitality would love to share Emily and David's wedding day at Saratoga National Golf Club in Saratoga Springs, NY!

"Rain or shine, the show must go on" applies perfectly to Emily and David's wedding day. The morning started with rain, wind and a temperature that dropped to a chilly October day. But, this did not stop our team from putting on an unforgettable wedding day!

They started the day at our sister location, The Hall of Springs, in the Saratoga Spa State Park for their 'first look' with their wedding planner, Christine Wheat. Their photographer, Joe and JP Elario captured some gorgeous NY Upstate Fall foliage in the park as well.

After leaving the Hall of Springs, they headed to Saratoga National to sign their Ketubah in the Howard Lounge and then the Blue Stone Tent for their late night ceremony. The lighting from the crystal chandeliers and candlelight down the aisle made for an intimate and elegant atmosphere under the tent.

The cocktail hour was held out on our Terrace, where the couple was able to rent a tent from Rain or Shine Tent Rentals with a few day notice due to the turn in weather in addition to extra heaters for the comfort of their guests. The menu was customized for their Jewish attendants as well as friends and family who were vegan and vegetarian. They dined on stuffed grape leaves, chicken and spinach meatballs, a sushi station with a chef rolling fresh sushi rolls and potato pancakes with chive sour cream.

At the end of the cocktail hour, we had a special surprise from Emily and David to their guests... fireworks!!! Yes, even in the rain - the show must go on! Everyone was thrilled to watch the surprise show before the wedding festivities started upstairs.

The ballroom was absolutely stunning!! The couple rented curtain drapes and ceiling swags that lit up the room during the evening from Total Events. The soft glow from the drapes created an amazing ambiance with the amount of candles and romantic centerpieces from David Michael Schmidt, at Renaissance Floral Design.

Emily and David had exactly 200 guests inside the Ballroom at National. The Sweetheart table placed against one of our smaller windows in the ballroom was perfect. Our rental dance floor was at the center of the room which created more space for her awesome band inside the large Bayview Window!

Once Emily and David were formally introduced, the dancing did not stop!

Congratulations to both of you! We are so happy that you two enjoyed your amazing day at National, and THANK YOU for reviewing us on WeddingWire"!! May you have many happy anniversaries in years to come!
