Austin Bayliss’ affinity for hospitality started long before college. It began all the way back in her grandmother’s kitchen where she learned the graceful art of human connection through baking and preparing for family gatherings. Her teenage summers were spent in hospitality at The Sagamore Resort and The Algonquin Restaurant in Bolton Landing. Her natural talent coupled with her hard-to-hide joy in bringing people together led Austin to study Hospitality Management at the University of New Hampshire where her love of the industry flourished. After graduation, the “celebration spark” was set ablaze in her and has never dimmed.
Austin moved from creating parties for family and friends to planning celebrations that captivated guests — even garnering the attention of major Hollywood celebrities. Raised in the beautiful Berkshires, she currently lives in Saratoga Springs and pinches herself that she gets to call the “jewel” of the spa, the Hall of Springs, her proverbial canvas.
“It’s such a distinct honor to be a member of the team that hosts so many significant events in such a beautiful and historic venue,” Austin says. “The elegance and ambiance of the Hall of Springs is spectacular; and I’m committed to ensuring that our guest experience is equally as exquisite.”
Austin’s expertise in fine food and best-in-class events make her an invaluable asset to the Mazzone Hospitality family. However, if you really want to get her going, inquire about a recent NFL (Go Patriots!) game, challenge her to a game of pickleball or, better yet, ask her about Shark Week. You’ve been warned.
