Rebecca grew up in Rhinebeck, New York, and knew from a young age that she wanted a career in the hospitality industry. She attended Plattsburgh State University where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management. Rebecca started at our parent company, Compass Group, in 2008 as the Cafe Manager of Flik. She continued to grow within the organization and grew into positions as Catering Manager and then Catering Director. Rebecca then left New York City and moved to the Capital Region area where she joined the Mazzone team in 2021. As our Hospitality Manager, Rebecca plays a key role in our team's success by overseeing the staffing of our operation. When asked what her favorite aspect of events is, she said, "I love seeing the transformation — from starting with an empty room to seeing all the work that is put in to make it amazing." Being married to a chef, Rebecca and her family love to eat! Her favorite food growing up was homemade sauce with sausage and homemade meatballs, and it still holds a close place in her heart. When not at work, Rebecca enjoys doing outdoor activities with her kids, such as skiing, bike riding, swimming, camping, and more.
